Mera Ration App Download: The Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Department of the Government of India in association with NIC has launched a mobile app known as Mera Ration App. This Mera Ration Mobile App was launched on March 12, 2021, to support One Nation One Ration Card beneficiaries.

In our Country, Every Government and Private Sector is moving towards digitalization. The Government of India launched Many Portals/ websites and Mobile Apps to provide Digital Services to the Citizens. Through this app, the government offers convenience to their citizens, and with the help of this app, the migrants who move to other states for their livelihood can register themselves and avail of subsidized ration. Till now, 32 States and Union Territories are covered under the One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) and the remaining four States and UTs are expected to be integrated into the scheme in the next few months.

The Mera Ration App was launched by the government to provide convenient services to the citizens of the country. The beneficiaries will be able to use the ‘Mera Ration app to identify the nearest fair price shop and check details of their entitlement and recent transactions.

The Government of India has launched a mobile app called ‘Mera Ration App‘ for ration card holders or beneficiaries of One Nation One Ration Card. Through this Ration Card App, the needy i.e. poor family people can check the nearest Fair Price Shop. This app is now available for all Android Users, Android users can easily download this app from the Google Play Store. In today’s world, Every Person has a Smartphone, so the Government thinks to provide all the information and list of Fair Price Shop and much more through the Mera Ration App.

On 12^th March 2021, Shri Sudhanshu Pandey who is the secretary of the Department of Food & Public Distribution addressed the media about the One Nation One Ration Card Yojana as well as launched the Mera Ration Mobile App. This app is specially developed for those poor people who have migrated to other places in search of livelihood. People can register themselves from this app to avail benefits of subsidized ration from any part of the country.

After the Launching of the Mera Ration Mobile App, Shri Sudhanshu Pandey who is the secretary of the Department of Food & Public Distribution said that the main objective of this app is to make the services convenient for NFSA, and ONORC beneficiaries. The government has developed this app in association with NIC through which various ONORC services will felicitate among the NFSA beneficiaries, FPS dealers, and stakeholders.

Now Mera Ration Mobile App is available in 2 languages i.e. Hindi and English but soon it will be available in 14 regional languages which helps the migrants, The Government announced that this app will be available in 14 regional languages so every person can easily understand and use the app.

Features of the Mera Ration Mobile App

• The migrant beneficiaries will be able to register their migration details through the mobile app. 
• The beneficiaries can register themselves before starting their journey and the system will automatically allocate the entitled Ration.
• NFSA beneficiaries will be able to use the app to identify the nearest FPS and check details of their Ration entitlement the previous six-month transactions and the status of the Aadhaar seeding.
• Through the app, the beneficiary will know what he is entitled to and he need not ask the FPS dealer how much he would get. 
• The beneficiaries can log into the app using their Aadhaar or ration card number.
• Right now, this app is only available for Android Users.
• According to reports, the app currently covers 32 states and union territories, and the remaining states will be added soon.
• Mera Ration Mobile App is now available in Hindi and English languages, but soon the government plans to add 14 other Indian languages.

The Registration Process for the Mera Ration App is very easy, anyone can easily register in Mera Ration App by following the below Process:

• First You need to Download and install Mera Ration App.
• After that, you need to Open the Mera Ration App Which is installed on your phone.
• Now click on the Registration Tab which appears on the home page of the App.

• To Register on this app you need to enter your ration card number and click on Submit button.
• When you click on submit button your Ration Card details appear on App.
• In this, you can choose the family members that have migrated to other states for livelihood.
• Now you need to enter these basic details like State, District, Month or year of migration, Mobile number, and Remarks.
• After filling in the Complete details click again on the submit button to complete the registration process.
